A 39 unit residential development located to the North East of the village of Newtyle, Angus. The site is accessed via Bulb Park, opposite an existing residential development.
Bulb Park provides a key access route into Newtyle from the East, providing good transport connections. The Southern edge of the site is lined with trees, creating an attractive approach to the village. To the West, an established tree belt provides separation from the adjacent park and bowling club. The site benefits from open aspects to the North and East. The proposals has been carefully designed in response to the immediate context of the site, whilst seeking to deliver a modern housing development in keeping with current guidance such as Designing Streets.
10 Affordable units for Abertay Housing Association tenants are provided using a tenure blind approach to design that provides much needed affordable housing for the local community.
