Our clients approched George Buchanan Architects with a view to transforming their period villa property, located in Jordanhill, to West of Glasgow. Working with our client to create a firm brief from the outset, design proposals included extensive remodelling, creating a range of contemporary living spaces and a new courtyard garden.

A new summer room and workshop were created through repurposing a former garage building, with a new extension to the rear of the main property containing a contemproary kitchen.  An external canopy links the two forms, with a contemporary zinc cladding wrapping the new additions, designed to reflect a modern addition to our clients period home.
